We are fast moving towards being a leading 21st century local authority and are currently the only council in Nottinghamshire to have a directly elected mayor.
With a strong track record of working for the community, we have improved neighbourhoods and carried out numerous economic and housing regeneration projects.
Our corporate plan focusses on four priorities, Growth, Aspiration, Wellbeing and Place Shaping to bring about change and a fundamental shift in the local economy to benefit generations to come.
